NEW YORK TIMES AUTHOR INTERVIEWS AND ARTICLES: This is an alphabetical listing of all authors whom the New York Times has written about. It isn't limited to short story authors - it covers the whole waterfront. An excellent resource, you may have to register with the New York Times to be able to access it, but it is free and a valuable trove, and registering will give you access to the daily NY Times.
